Competition run by the national and state trucking associations. Large Motor Carriers like FedEx must hold their own internal competition to determine who they are going to send to state. They are only allowed 2-3 drivers per category. Drivers can compete in more than 1 category. Hendegaard had 3 of our drivers proceed past the internal championship to compete at the state level. If a driver places at state and moves on to nationals they also get winnings from Hedegaard Transport for placing. If they place 1-3 at nationals they receive not only industry recognition but winnings from Hendegaard transport for placing at the national level. Winnings for 2017 have changed from years prior and range from $500 to $10,000, plus all-expense-paid-trip to the competitions.
